Just put them over the old ones. That way I can always take them out without any trouble...

Thoese are the same gauges that I have in my car, I also installed the satin rings around them too and it looks really good. I cut the box around the milage # so that they are clear. Just take a really sharp razor blade and trim it up and it will be a lot eaiser to read your #'s. Looks good though.

I have the same ones as well and installed the billet rings too.. It was easy and all but the only problem that Im having now is my tach & speedo needles stick sometimes...

other minor complaints are..
the pegs that stop your needles dont reseat too well
if your interior lights are up all the way (turning the headlight ****) then you have a glow from the needle centers
they dont overlap all the warning lights on the bottom exactly...

But Im picky as well and like them so I live with it...

Do yours have the switch from green to blue as well ??

Here are my pics a little fuzzy but you get the pictue.. LOL

Did you remove the pegs to install yours? I didn't remove anything, other than the lens of course...
I've noticed that last two mornings that my speedo and tach needles stick a little when their cold, but as the day warms up there's no problems. If I turn the lights on as soon as I get in the car that works pretty well too. I'm going to pull them out this weekend, and make sure the edges are pulled and taped. I taped them , but didn't get them pulled enough I guess. I'll also try to cut out the lens over the odo. I'm still debating trying to cutout the dummy light part. My lights all line up perfect. I just don't seeing the outline of all those lights...

I have the blue/green switch too, but it's not much of a difference, I keep it on blue. oh, and yes I have light bleeding out around the needles too... bugs me, but not sure how to stop it... I just keep the gauges turned up, and the needles down... I've also got to figure out how to change the remaining lights to blue (fog light, TC, and defrost switches) I changed the A/C dials to blue, and I think that's it. I wish there was an easy fix for the odometer, to make it blue...

IF your needles are sticking, the easy way to fix this is when you take it apart again just take off the clear cover and (I used a fork) pull up on the needles a little, probley what you did is the same thing I did and pushed them in a little too far and my bat. gauge and fuel gauge needles stuck a little. I have had no other problems with them, and all needled work like they should now.
