i got the sct x3 and i need some help setting up a tune... please help i need to know what everything should be set at... wot shift? whats that? my spark... rev limiter set to what?

 

oh yeah btw its a 2000 auto gt... only mod is a k&n filther and silencer removed! 91 octane...

 

The WOT shift is only for automatic cars I believe. Rev limiter is where you want to set the rev limiter at..i'd leave it at 6000 or what ever factory is, no need to screw with that unless you've got cams and springs.
If you don't know what the spark advance and stuff is, If i were you i'd just go ahead andinstall the tune that they installed in it and leave the custom tuning for a while until you start learning your way around. You'll still get a pretty nice gain just from installing the tune they already loaded.

 

yeah i know wot is for an auto... thats what i got! i wanna know what it should be set to 1-2, 2-3, 3-4 and the spark for all the rpm ranges...

 

Ahh Ok. Hopefully someone with an autmatic will chime in. i've never played with a tuner on an automatic
+5 advance through out the RPM range does fine for y car

 

mines a 5 speed but i have the spark all the way up and noticed a gain from that. you just have to make sure there is no engine ping, your running a higher octane so you should be fine bumping it up
