Default strut tower brace install

how hard would it be to install a strut tower brace on a 2000 GT coupe? My friend gave me one off his 94 and he sold the car recently and I still have it, even though he asked for it back, so I guess its mine now.

I dont have any holes where it moutns so how hard would it be to drill holes and mount it?

Is there any how to's out there?

thanks a lot

ok nevermind i see y it wont work... the mounting location at the firewall is diff....so im thinking this...

cutting off the part going to the firewall and jsut having the bar across?

do you think that would even do anything?

heres a chop to show what i mean, before and after(in my friends car)

SO does your car not have the firewall ledge? I personaly would't cut that piece if you want to get the full affect of having a STB

I dont think its a good idea to cut that piece out.If you cut that piece out that goes to the firewall.Your gonna take all the structure and supportout ofit.

here's a pic of mine. off of a Mach1. Its goes across like you want to do. But im just wondering how thick the tubing is on the one you have. I'm just thinking it may have thinner tubing since it was made with the extra support.
