Default tuner vs. stock

I'm sure this question gets answered over and over but here it is again. I just about an 01 gt convertible and I was planning on doing just exhaust but of course I never stick to my plan. Now I have done the cat back and have a catted xpipe, shifter, and 4.10 gears coming. My next question is how do I want to calibrate my speedo? Looking at a few diablo sport tuners on ebay but they seem to be a pretty good investment. Used ones are going for within a hundred dollars of new ones. Or should I just get a speed calibrator? Is a tuner worth the money on a basically stock car? I can't find a dyno chart anywhere but they say dyno proven. This car is just for fun. I own a construction company so it doesn't get driven a lot. I usually drive my truck with a trailer

I'd get a tuner, Xcal3, then you have the option of custom tuning, or a "can tune", you can fix the gear calibration, increase the rev. limiter, ect..ect... and will even read the trouble codes. ALong with that you'll pich up some xtra HP/TRQ

You've done exhaust, gears, x-pipe, .......... Yea, your hooked! Get a tuner now or you will get one later. CAI would be a good investment also! Did see one listed on the previous post

I'm starting to think that. I said I was gonna leave it alone and didn't. Now I say I'm done but I guess we know how that goes. What kind of power do they add on a car such as mine? Its a five speed so no transmission help. I have a friend with an 05 and he loves his tuner. He says his car feels like a mut without it. He runs an sct but says the diablo is just as good but easier to change from car to car

Which cai is the best bang for the buck? My wife is gonna kill me. Just found out we have a little one coming and she said my bike had to go. I sold it and bought "the family car" lol. We can set him in from the top I tell her. Now i'm spending a bunch of money on it. Grrr so frustrating. I have a drag car that runs in the 9's so I just want a fun street car

Dont waste your money on a CAI man, just throw a K&N in there and remove the silencer.

And yes a tuner would be a great investment.

What are the 4.10's gonna do to my gas mileage? I think I might have gone too far. I just couldn't handle doggin along at 1600 rpm's in 5th gear at 60
