yea if i stay with the car, im going to wait and see what the numbers are on trading mine in for a cobra. I'll prob get a shifter+driveshaft+tb/plen. I'm going to wait on the tune for now like earlier discussed. And yea i can instal them all myself. That is good to know about the TB/plenuim + Tune though steve. makes me look forward to the tune even more

Oh and MustangNtriangle. thats a good tip for exhaust. However, i already bought a mid pipe and catback(first mod didnt know anybetter) which will only fit shorty headers. And i really really dont want to redo the whole sys just to get Headers. I may get shorties at some piont but im still undecided. I wish i wouldve known better when i bought the mid pipe

save for a blower $1000 you can look around for used stuff and save some$$$ all the little bolt on stuff doesnt do a whole lot especially on a stock engine

The only way you are going to feel the power is to add a supercharger or a turbo. I did the catback system, headers, gears, plenum, throttle body, and K&N and only gained about 25 h.p. at the most. Don't believe the numbers the magazines give on these parts.

gears, throttle body, plenum add no power.. throttle body and plenum are for throttle response, gears are to get you in the powerband quicker. if you want to add good power but cant do F/I.. id say heads and cams.. cams especially cause you may get used to the power.. but youll still have the infamous "lope" of a cammed 2V. if you do cams.. id say do head work at the same time or shortly after to take advantage of the cams and add even more power. it wont be a huge gain.. but you can expect at least 30 depending on your setup of heads and cams.

yea ive considered that down the road. ive been back and forth on a lot of issues lately! 1st of all looks like im keeping the mustang i have, since im upside down and 600+ a month for a termi is too much. i wanna build up the small things before i do anything major like cams/heads or nos. so i guess i'll dig in and see how much i can get outta the 2v. im starting with T/B plenuim+tuner+driveshaft next and go from there. i better see a good diff with the tune and all the parts ill have on there once i tune her. I'll keep posted
