having an error code pop up with an on and off check engine light... its inspection month so i was hoping to get this fixed before taking it in... the code is P1443: Evaporative emission purge valve malfunction. where is this located? expensive? help!? thanks..

cant help alot as im not sure of price or exact location on these cars. but the evap system is basically a vacuum line that runs from your fuel tank to a charcoal canister under the car to store fuel vapors, then there should be a solenoid located in the line that runs from the canister to the intake manifold. look under the car for a vacuum line running from your fuel tank to a canister that looks similar to a coffee can, the solenoid should be nearby, hope this helps.
