how much for a new clutch

RE: how much for a new clutch
depends on where you go , Labor is what cost so much it can go from anywhere to 200 to 500 bucks. Dealerships charge you a arm and a leg , but there work is usually top end unless there shady. Mom and pop shops are the way to go for great work and decent price , just make sure you find a good trusting one that wont sell your clutch kit and put some crappy pre-used clutch in and screw you to death (happens to tons of unknowing people ). Then you got chain places like Cottmans , and tuffys that do crappy work for the same price as a mom and pop shop but they usually give you a coupon and free jelly beans to make them so much better. I dealt with tuffy personally and they put a crappy clutch with a messed up T/O bearing on and wouldnt admit it was messed up. They tried to tell me It was natural for that until I broke it in (Riiiiiightt!) , So I called there corporate office and had them put a brand new kit in for free at another location. Call around and get some prices , Check out reviews on websites for work quality.
