Default I want to be a little different, how hard will this be?

If some of you have been helping me on deciding what to do power wise you know that i wanted to buy an mmr shortblock stage 2 heads stage 2 cams and a supercharger. Well at the time the money i had saved up for all this i had to spend to keep my business but now i have it back and am deciding differently.

I want to be different so how hard would it be to turn my 4.6 into a 302 stroker? What kind of parts would i need for a job like this. Could i just bore my engine block i have now or should i just buy mmr's 5.0 stroker engine? The only reason i dont want to just buy a 5.0 block is i would need all new engine parts (heads wouldn'ty be a problem since i was going to buy them anyways).

Can some of you help me on what i would need and what do you guys think of this?

Thanks, Mike

I personally dont know all that much about it, but the amount of $$ you spend arent going to yeild the results your hoping to see. If your really set on this bore out a 4.6. It would be a PITA to put a real 5.0 in, if it could actually be done.

if you have that money to spend.. honestly id try to find an 03-04 cobra motor and upgrade your transmission. if you do end up ordering a motor from MMR and want to supercharge.. just make sure its completely forged to save you trouble down the road.

Im doing the same thing over the winter but im doing a direct port shot of juice and stage six proweld heads with just a little just a lil more money than a supercharger you can have the same power and not be just another mustang with a supercharger or a turbo(thats with every bolt on you can get plus stroker kit nitrous and a very good set of heads patriot does not fall into that catagory by the way)lol ok im ready to get yelled at by al the supercharged and turbo guys that say you cant make around 400 hp without f/i.

I may be a little dense but are you talking about stroking your 4.6 to a 5.0 or swap to a push rod?
