Default stock gap vs nitrous gap

in the midst of setting up my car for a small shot of nitrous. Just got my NGK TR6's in the mail.

now, i'm going to be running a 75 shot (to start with) but I wont be spraying THAT often. MAYBE once or twice every other weekend. So if its not a dedicated nitrous/track car, do I need a nitrous specific gap?

i've heard that cars running off spray with a 35 gap tend to run like crap N/A...any truth to that?

basically just want to know what gap to run overall

Don't kid yourself....you'll be addicted to the spray Gap the TR-6's at .035 to prevent spark blowout. My car runs the numbers in my sig with the same plug and plug gap. [8D]

haha im sure i will get addicted, but i work a couple jobs that dont let me get to the track and play that often lol.

and i really dont want to spray on the street. Especially being new to using it. I've gotten enough speeding tickets in my beater accord let alone a mustang with spray haha...and i practically live in my cars so no suspended license for me thank-you-very-much lol

also, i wont have a tuner for a little while, but should i run premium along with spray even if its not tuned for it?

LOL i had to laugh. When i finished my installed i wasted my 10lb bottle in a day on the street. I just couldn't believe the difference. O and just skip the 75 shot and go straight to 100. If you dont you'll be ordering the jets within a week.

I have 2 64 lb bottles in my garage and 3 10lb bottles in the freezer. yeah I am addicted. all kidding aside it is nice to be able to fill your own bottles and a lot cheaper as well.

i understand i'm going to enjoy it....but seriously, i wont be spraying on the street. Not worth it. especially where I live, the roads arent great and cops are abundant, especially on sunny summer days. Cant risk it.

I use to fill my own bottles but would not say it's cheaper (or atleast in my car). On a 50# cylinder I would only get 35#'s because i didn't have a pump or a gravity fill stand. So I alwyas had 15#'s that I paid for that I didn't use. Add in the delivery charges, bottle rental and hazmat fees and I was paying $4.12/lb for those 35#'s. But it was convenient!

And for the OP, .035" is fine on the street.
