I have a muffler delete,I simply had straight pipe welded in where the mufflers were, everything else is stock. It sounds somuch better coming all the way out to the tips than just dumping at the end of the H pipe. I really love the deep rumble sound, not at all raspy and it doesn't pop and rattle when decelerating. Sound is a very subjective thing, some folks will also dump on it because its not a $500 mod.

Other than putting an excessive amount of heat from the exhaust onto the gas tank and possible vaporlocking no i cant say it will do much damage.

If youre planning to permanently run it that way (AND I WOULDNT) atleast run a couple of turn downs off the back where the catback bolts up.
