How hard is to replace the oil this sc? Do you need to take the unit out? Just wondering if is better to go with a Vortech V3.

Its very simple- theres a drain plug on the bottom, put a socket on it, remove it, catch the little bit of old oil that comes out, replace the plug, and then put in a new bottle through the fill hole on the top. Takes like 10 minutes.

That's what self contained means. Prochargers have their own oil. They do not share oil with the motor.

Wait a minute, so is not necesary to remove the sc to change the oil? Cause that was the only thing keeping me from buying a Procharger.

It takes me like five minutes to change the oil on my procharger, and no you don't have to take the head out or lift the car, just reach for the drain plug under the head put a small container under it to catch the oil ( from 4 to 5 onces ) put it back and add the procharger oil. Now here's the thing, every time you do an oil change on the head your not going to use 6 onces like it says in the manual since some oil is going to remain inside you shouldn't use the whole bottle; and that's why there so many people with leaking procharger units because they over fill their units.
