Where do buy remanufacted engines?
I'm looking to buy a remanufacted 2001 Cobra engine, anyone got any reccommendations to a good website with the best deals and warranties for a 01 Cobra engine?
Also, my buddies and I are thinking about doing the engine swap on my Cobra once I get the engine. How hard is it to swap engines? We have a descent amount of experience doing car work and have access to a good amount of tools. Do you think it's possible to do an engine swap? And we have plenty of time, I have another car to pull me around....
thanks for the help!

My motor blew up and I bought a re-man for my 2000 GT from FORD. It came with a 3 year warranty. Might as well just get it with Ford. Do it right.. they will replace it anywhere in the country going by your VIN if anything goes wrong with it within that 3 year time.

There's some reman companies that offer the warranties through Ford too, that's why I'm looking for a good website. How much was the labor for install? if you had to pay labor...

I too agree buy it from ford as a tech i can tell you if its worth doing do it right.
As for the swap its self id highly suggest you have a 4 post lift and drop it from the bottom if you havent got acess to a lift some descent sized jack stands will work.I have some for a truck or something but theyre literally twice the size of standard ones.
Other than that its pretty simple and plug and play.
