Just a little update with pics
The long tubes are on, clutch/flywheel in and intake is going through final mock up phase. We took the intake back off the motor and attached the fuel rails, temperature sensor as well as injectors. Hopefully, she will be on the street tonight. Enjoy...

Damn code thats beauuuuutiful. Does that intake fit under your hood ok? That intake was featured in 5.0 MM&FF and I remember it saying one of the intakes they tested didn't fit with a stock hood. Everything looks amazing though. What kind of headers are you using cause I wanna get some longtubes next.
Oh yeah, you need to send us some audio/video when you get it up and running too!!

Thanks, I am REALLY happy with the way everything is coming together and the look is very intimidating. The hood will be a snug fit, the other "total race" version of Fox Lake Racing intake (Ithink it's called the XL500) will not fit. The headers are Mac with the HTS coating and they were a BITCH to install (around 10 hours), but well worth the effort.
I will definitely post some vids when she's running. I can't wait to hear those BIG NASTY cams.

Yeah I wanted to install my own headers too and they sound like they suck to do. You had it up on a lift and it still took 10 hrs?

Ok, do you think the issue with room would have to do with your bigger engine at all? I really hope it doesn't take me that long.

The engine isn't any bigger than stock.
