2000ponyexpress

I just changed the engine in my 4.6 2000gt with a 4.6 out of a 2001gt, now my temp guage reads about halfway between hot and cold when I first crank it up.when it is cold. Ichanged the temp sending unit out of my other intake to the one in now and it still didnt help.What do I need to change now?

I would just put an after market gauge and sending unit on it.

Check the wiring. You may have damaged it.
