Default High OutPut Coils:

I recently ran across some Granatelli Motorsports High Output coils they claim 15hp N/A and 35hp Sprayed/Blown.....? If this is true why does more people not run them? The price or is the number complete B.S...

the coil packs found on our cars are very well designed and produce more then enough spark from the factory. No need to upgrade them.

+1 thats what i learned from research on here and elsewhere. they only make a differenc on high end engines or Forced Induction. which is why on american muscle the gave you the dyno video from a ford gt not a mustang gt

Granatelli Motorsports High Output coils are probably the worst coils to get. Aftermarket coils are cheaper than factory ones. When you start boosting they make a big difference. WEAPONX coils are the best........i use a Boost A Spark.

So really no difference until you start boosting correct guys? Does that apply to the same difference if you spray? Again thanks I just have never considered upgrading the coils.

dont waste your money on overpriced coils, I have tried several brands with not one performing any better the the other. I paid 100 bucks on ebay for all 8 of the ones on my car now with a 1 year warrenty and they have worked as good as any.
