Default 96 cobra

i have been lookin at some 96-98 cobras to build somethin for the strip and i found a couple 96 mystic cobras on ebay....they are both $12,000 and have vortec superchargers on them. one is makin 448whp not sure on what boost, it has 4.10's 31 spline axles and thats about all i can remember. the other one has a built bottom end runnin 18 psi on the supercharger stage 2 cams 4.10's but it looks real rough and ragged out so would it be best to buy the one that looks like its been takin real good care of and do the internals myself or take what seems to be a bigger risk on the other one

to be honest i think the mystics are gonna be collectors items more than anything... i think its pretty dumb to have modded a mystic instead of a plain cobra, also when you're buying a car thats that modded you know its been ripped on... id say try to find a damn near stock one and mod it to your prefrences... besides its more fun that way.

I'd say just drive them and decide for yourself which is the best. A built motor means it should hold up to the beating that people think they have been through. They could be like me. I baby mine most of the time and I have a lot done to mine. I built my engine myself and don't want to tear it up, that's why I baby it. They may do the same. You never know. I just don't think you should assume they beat on it because it has a charger.
