Default Single Wire MILs

Hey guys, I recently parted out my car and returned it to stock, including the tuner etc... Everything is fine except the car threw the CEL for no cats, I have a pair of MILs laying around. I was hoping someone had seen these before and know the right way to install them ..

Here is the link to the ones I have ...

I have installed the normal 2 wire MILS, and Homemade versions, but do not know the proper way for these.

Thanks in advance

Looks to me like you would still have to saulder (sp?) them in. I would just make your own if you havent bought these already.

Oh yea, LOVE the avatar.

They go in series with the + sensor output wire., and may not work as thet are only resistors that do nothing but reduce the rear sensor output voltage. The RC type MIL eliminators also introduce some phase shift which can better fool the PCM...

So should I just wire them into the grey wires only ? or wire them into both the grey and black wires ?

I already have these sitting here, I must have gotten them a while ago andI'd like to make them work !

Thanks

If you have black and gray wires then you have aftermarket O2 sensors and the MIL eliminators would go in series with the black wire (the gray wire is signal ground). On OEM sensors the eliminator would go in series with the red/light green on the passenger side, and violet/light green on the driver's side. The wire used on O2 sensors is often Monel, not copper, and would require silver-soldering (actually non-ferrous metal brazing) to make soldered connections. The good news however is that properly crimped plain ol' butt connectors filled with di-electric grease (or not since you are selling the car) will work just as well. Most new Military specs call for crimped/filled connections instead of soldered for most low-current connections.
