Well my wifes uncle just retired and the family pulled together and bought him a new gt 500 very nice. He was driving around in a 1987 gt that needs some body work but engine still running strong. he asked me if I wanted it. I said for free he said ya. I'm excited about it just need to find out how to get my wife to let me keep it. she does not like mustangs so having 2 would be hard for her to take.

no I'm getting a 1987 gt for free my wifes uncle is the one that got the gt 500 for retiring from about 40 family members chipping in. maybe I was not clear in the opening statement. either or don't realy care if you belive or not I'm no young kid that comes on here and makes things up. besides if I was making this up how hard would it be to take a picture of a mustang and call it mine not hard at all.

well I'm going to take a look at the 87 gt wed to see what kind of condition it is realy in. I do know that one of the rear quarter pannel has a dent in it and the interior is bad. My goal is if the body is'nt to bad is do some basic body work and repaint the car flat black with some black rims. gut the interior back seat passanger seat and so on. and either have that engine reworked with forged bottom end or save up and buy a 351 create motor already done. the car would definetly make a good project car where I can do a little at a time and not need it to get around. and I do have the garage space.
