i would also suggest to buy a supercharger because i believe you ll get the most performance for your money and you could run a s/c safely on your stock motor with a safe tune fore a long time.

I would buy a 5.4L From MMR for $2300 that is built for 800 RWHP, and get it tuned. Your torque curve will be ridiculous and if your goal is power, you need to build you engine before you should throw f/i, plus who doesnt like a bigger motor. No replacement for displacement.Or you can buy the 4.6Lthat also costs around $2900.Because we all want to add more boost or spray more one we have some sort of F/I in our car, Its addicting, however if you are limited due to you engine. Ifi could start all over, i would built my enginethen added F/I.

i'd say throw on a low boost supercharger and go from there. that'll give you more power than that upgrade kit and unlike the nitrous, you'll have the power all the time and won't have to keep refilling bottles.

Personally If I were you, because this is what I plan on doing to mine when I get the money, is go to a junkyard, find a '05ish Ford lightning that stills runs good (like got hit in the *** and is totaled but still runs), pay like $800 bucks for the 5.4l Supercharged engine and bolt it in place of the one you got now. You need new hearers, 8 bolt flywheel and a new intake and your set. You might need new hood. i've seen it done with one and without one. I would get a new one, change up the look of your car a little bit. Could do the whole thing for $2000 ($2500 with hood). Then you still got $2000 to upgrade your suspension. Tubular K member, sub-frame connectors, control arms. Maybe some wider shoes out back that'll handle the power better.

^ that would be 380 HP 450 torque only thing is that you might have to build trans/rear to handle the torque. but maybe not. and i think there intercooled so you would want to pull that off the truck too

how many miles is on the motor????
i would say get new heads and pistons so your motor can handle a blower and/or nitrous and not throw a rod or some thing with stock internals. because my brother had bought a supercharger for his 01 mustang and has almost all the same mods and he had like 69k miles and took his car to the track twice and cracked his stock heads and really screwded thing up and spen over 6k in replaceing parts and laybor cost
or do the same thing the guy ^^^ said
or get it borr ed out to 5.2 litter and 302 stroker kit
