RE: Check Engine Help... PLEASE!!
Just got back from Advanced Auto and i used the tuner to check what codes are being thrown. I got P0156 and then the second code was the same P1056. The second one said bank 2 sensor 2 pending. Idk wtf that means. So now my question is, do i clean the rear o2s to see if they still work, get new ones?? hopefully this is an easy fix and my steeda mils are still in working order.

RE: Check Engine Help... PLEASE!!
P0156 - HO2S Sensor Circuit Malfunction (HO2S-22) which is the driver side rear o2 sensor.
These are the possible cuases given from my service manual.
[*]Pinched, shorted, and corroded wiring and pins.[*]Crossed sensor wires.[*]Exhaust leaks.[*]Contaminated or damaged sensor.[/ul]
If i were you and you crawl under there and check the connector and wiring and don't see anything damaged. I would throw a new down stream o2 on it for the driver side. It you want to be possitive if its bad try swapping it for the one next to it. Clear the codes by disconnecting the battery for atleast 5 minutes. And take it back to see if you get the same code. If you get acode for the passenger side this time you know its the sensor and your wiring is good.

RE: Check Engine Help... PLEASE!!
yea just swap the rear o2's positions put the right one on the left side and vise versa. If you get the same code you now know you have a problem with the wiring for the sensor on the driver side rear o2. Now if the code comes up for the passenger side rear o2 you deffinatly know the o2 is at fualt.

RE: Check Engine Help... PLEASE!!
so i just got done and switched the left and right rear o2 sensor vise versa and noticed that the right one had a loose wire where i had installed the set of mils that i made the first time. I had to splice and crimp the wire.. blah blah blah so that is where it must have come lose. So i just fixed that and i turned the car on, drove it home about 10 miles away from my buddies house and the CEL is still on. Will it reset itself? should i clear it? or hopefully someone has the answers cuz idk what it could be. Thanks guys.
