Default mid pipe question? x or h?

i have an 04 GT, with original 40s flowmasters. Im looking for a mid pipe, i dont have a enough money for headers....so mid pipe for now and im guessing i have to stay with a full length mid pipe. I also live in a strict state so im gunna have to stick with cats (weak sauce).im still debating x or h? any opinions? i know im gunna have to get the longer o2 sensors.....and after deciding what to go with is there any prep work i should do or need to know? im gunna install them myself (hopefully that will be easy) and once they are installed should i do anything before i turn her on? I dont have a tuner either...... i could use all the help thankx

I would go with an x pipe. You will get a little more hpout if it. As for prep work i would soak the bolts on the old one with wd-40 or something like it to help in removing them. And after your done installing them make sure your o2 wiring isn't touching the exhuast anywhere so you dont cook the wires. Also your not going to need a tuner since your still running cats.

I have a catted bassani on my car. You might get lucky and some people on here might have some sound clips of there cars with a setup close to yours. So you get an idea of what you might like.
