Oil in my 1996 cobra's radiator
Hi, a while ago my cobra's oil pressure began jumping up and down, white smoke came out of the right tail-pipe while it was idling. I began to inspect the motor and when i took off the radiator cap it began to overflow with what looked like diarhea... yummy... Instantly i realized that it was oil mixed with the coolant. I've come to3 possible diagnoses' which are Cracked head, blown head gasket, or the oil cooler is leaking. If you can think of other possiblilities please feel free to chime in. I've taken the radiator out and am having it pressure tested. What I was hoping to find out was if anyone on here could help me locate the oil cooler. I have no idea where it is and was hoping it is possible to get to without removal of the motor. I know checking the heads and or gasket will reguire me to do so. Thanks, Lance

intake manifold gasket as well will produce the white smoke...
oil in the coolant is going to be a head gasket... sorry... that sucks... but get it checked out... hopefully it all goes good for you...

Thanks for the info, i figured it was a blown head gasket on the right side due to the location of the smoke but prayed that it could be something else. Problem is i have to work on this myself and i have heard that it is an extreme pain in the butt to pull this motor out. Well, atleast im partly started with the radiator pulled. Thanks guys

RE: Oil in my 1996 cobra'
Pm me its a long list lol. I KNOW THIS SOUNDS DUMB but get the little bottle of radiator/ block weld stuff at autozone it really does work and it says its permanent.( I had to use it on my old npi gt engine.)
