Default Headlight Assembly Removal

Hi all,

I'm new here. I just bought a 96 Mustang GT Convertible. The guy I bought it from said he just replaced the headlights, but it seems like he installed the new ones somewhat crooked. It looks like *** and it's really bothering me!

I'd like to fix it, but I can't figure out how the entire assembly comes out! I've searched the internet using every combination of search terms I can think of, but I can't find any information. Can somebody point me in the right direction?

How do I get these headlight assemblies out?!

Thanks,
Casey

i know its a different bodystyle than me... but mine have two clips you pull out, and the whole headlight pulls out, they are right near the top of the headlight. they have a right angle on the top and are about 4 inches long. of course if im wrong somebody correct me

All in all, I would've rather kept my BMW M3. But since times have gotten tough financially, it's time to make sacrifices! I jumped on the best bargain I could find... I may have to struggle with the headlights and the A/C may not work (and it's been over 100 for more than a month), but things could be worse!

That seems pretty helpful. But until I can compare it to my car, it's hard to tell. Thanks for the link!!
