clutch issues

clutch issues
I recently purchased the car and i switch from a ford ranger to a stang big jump lol
so i m getting used to not trying to jump the clutch
when i do i do hear a clunk nut also when i got over bumps sometimes at low speed
also 2nd gear catch a little bit
My questions are :
could it be possible something else is doing that ?something like a bearing or the exhaust ?
2nd question
could i get something to make the clutch smoother by buying a clutch kit or a short shifter
or anything you know that would make it smoother?

its probably not smooth at the moment because you just got it. drive it around and learn the feel of the car.

yes i know it s new to me but that s what i thought but then when i hear that noise when i got over bumps .
but the suspension is fine it has been check so i really don't know but i know that noise is coming from something loose.
the car has 58000 2002 gt so i guess it s original.
will and what clutch kit would help with the shifting
