Default engine swap ques+ion

will a 04 engine bolt up to my car or will something have to be done because of the cop's/anything else?

It will bolt right up. Which 04 are you talking about? GT, Cobra, Mach? They all bolt right up. If you're going with a Cobra or Mach, you might need to get the computer and wiring harness too. In the future, please be a little more specific. Good luck, keep us posted.

The 2v engine itself yeah, you shouldn't have any problems.

If your looking to drop in an '04 Engine for the power I'd just recommend doing a P.I. Swap instead. It'll be much cheaper and provide about 10 more horsepower over a '04 engine.

+1 on the PI swap... but you will need to run premium fuel due to the CR.
