Default Brake help

I have a problem with my brakes, they feel spongy now, not tight like they should, I bled them and am not hearing or seeing any air coming from the lines, but the brakes suck now, what have I done wrong, I have bled brakes on many cars before and never had this problem. Please help.

It's all the standard procedure, hose from bleed valve to fluid container, assistant steps on brake and holds it, open bleeder, close when flow stops, release and re-apply brake, repeat 'til no air...

I use one of those "one man" bleeder thingys with the check valve and a plastic container with a magnet so you can stick it to something like the backing plate, etc.

The shop manual does specify an order that is pretty much the way I've always done it, furthest from the master cylinder first--right rear, left rear, right front, left front...
