We'll its all in how deep are your pockets and how much are you willing to do yourself. If i were you. I get a cat-back with the sound you like, gears and a shifter if its manual. And you will have a fun car and a good base to build on.

O/R X and Flows are a great choice. You will need to turn off the rear o2 sensors with an O/R midpipe though. You can either make your own MIL Eliminators or buy a tuner. If your car is an automatic, then I would highly suggest a tuner.

Your not gonna help it breath to much more than it already does with exhaust. the problem with the 2v GT motor is the heads. They flow terrible CFMs. i would leave your stock manifold on for now(i caught wind of about texas going to sniffer tests on exhaust in about a yr) so i would start with a solid stainless steel catback and midpipe. iv already got lts and o/r midpipe so i hope they dont go sniffer tests for a long time. i have a feeling ima be swapping to shorties n cats in about 6 months

Thats a good start and in my opinion Borla has a great sounding exhaust system. Depending upon your under hood skills you might want to reconsider the headers. If you don't mind busted knuckles and creating new words never heard before in the english language feel free to install them yourself. I'm sure you could get an exhaust shop to do the full set up for you though for a reasonable price. Also consider camshafts when it comes to sound. I good grind can make a tame animal become a wild beast.

my .02...if you're just looking for a couple of easy bolt-on's that you can easily do, that wont break the bank...CAI, cat-back (maybe O/R pipe as well), and a tune (go to a dyno-tuner if there's one close by). Get the tune done after the other bolt-ons. If you want to spend a little more $$...get gears. Be warned...headers are a PIA, not worth it on a stock motor.
