Default Noise and Slight Vibrations

2001 GT Mustang 5-speed

I rotated my tires the other day and when I first took my car out after the rotation there was some noise and a slight vibration throughout the vehicle when I hit about 15 mph. The only thing I can figure out that it could be would be that the tires were worn so different that they caused the noise and vibration. The tires are rotated regularly at 3,000 miles and the last rotation they did not make that noise or vibration. By the way the tires have almost 12,000 miles on them and they are Cooper Zeon 2XSs. Have any of you had this happen after a rotation or had any experience with these tires?

Thanks.

No, but one obvious cause of wheel vibration would be unbalanced wheels. Might need to get them balanced.

You may want to also check the torque on your lugnuts.. Ideally, you're supposed to snug them up, put the weight of the car on the studs, and then properly torque the wheel, tightening the lugs in a criss-cross star pattern..

those are directional tires make sure you have them going the right direction. that would cause a vib. if there right get them balanced. and torque the wheels at 85-95 in a star pattern.
