i was wondering if any one has used the stock tubing on an fipk assembly? i did mine and it actually seems to run a little better, but my fipk tubing was a little damaged.

Huh - Your FIPK tube was botched up? I'd send it back. No, have not tried it tho. I run the FIPK and have had no problems with it.

<edit> Also, the stock tub prolly isn't as good as the FIPK due to the ripples in the bend that can create turbulence...

You are probably killing any performance you would have seen from the FIPK. I have run the FIPK tubing to the stock intake with a drop in K&N in my truck with awsome results, but the tubing on the stock intake is restrictive and set up to help with silencing, not air flow.
