It's been doing it forever now and I've had it looked at but when we think it's fixed, it's not. It only REALLY does it when it's cold. but once in awhile it will do it out of the blue. Anyone gone through this or have ideas as to why it this would happen?

by the sounds of it, some of it my come from the full unrescirtive exhaust and and if your timing is advaced is where most likely it's comeing from. maybem, not positive. alot of factors go into why your car backfires with all those mods.. ps u said u did the 88 swap. did u happen to by chance to do the upgrade to mass air?
