Default spoiler

Does anybody know the exact performance spec of the stock spoiler on a 96gt, drag and down force? Thanks

Probably not much at all. You would have to invest in something like the Steeda Race wing, Cobra R or Agent 47 adjustable wing.

The reactions you get may be not so good.

It's a really cool decoration. Low downforce, high drag. Listen to jmac.

As other have said, I doubt very much that even Ford's design engineers never made any such measurments, it's completely irrelevant at any legal speed and only marginally relevant at any speed between the legal limit and 100 MPH.

"It's just decoration man!"

It's decoration. Almost all are. I read an article years ago about a 200 mph Camaro. It had twin-turbos and they wanted to hit 200 on the test track. They couldn't get past 198 until they took the spoiler off. They then hit 201.

Oh, I forgot to mention that it's a wing, not a spoiler...
