Exclamation INFO For anyone who has done a PI Swap of any type

Ok, so if you have done the PI swap on your 96-98 GT and didn't get the hole tapped for the second coolant sensor, here is a way to get it plugged back in and get your a/c working again.
From fleet farm pick up:
3/8" Galv Tee fitting #2890501039
Black Pipe Nipple #2890502232 (small threaded piece to thread into the tee fitting and also the coolant crossover on intake)
teflon tape

Then you can go back to your car, WHEN ITS COLD!!!!!!! open the radiator cap, then unscrew the one sensor, teflon tape the black pipe nipple and start threading into the aluminum coolant crossover. Teflon the top of it and screw the tee fitting onto it and make it nice and tight, and put it at a good angle so you can screw both sensors in. You might have to take off the bracket over the alternator to get a good grip on it to tighten it. Then Teflon tape the sensors and screw them into the tee fitting and tighten them up with a wrench. You will have to cut off the one connector and add some wire to it so it reaches over to the other side. Plug them in, put everything back on, and start it up and test your job. Let the engine get warm so that the coolant starts flowing through everything. Your temp guage WILL READ LOWER THAN NORMAL. because the guage is a little isolated from the normal coolant flow. But it does work. Hope this helps everyone!!

yea it is off by about 15* or so i would say. if i could hook up a scan tool to it and find the exact temp its reading i could let you know for sure.

That would be enough to effect the ECU temp and fan control.

I seen another guy do it around here. I just think it would be something to watch. If it works, it work.

If your 15* off that is bad. that could put you in a different fuel table like cold drive off which would kill your performance.

Why didn't you just attach it to the driverside of the block (below the headers)
