i am on manifold number 3!!!!! i cracked my stock one, put a PI one on, cracked that one and now im on number three. The PI ones can still get hot and crack, mine cracked right where the aluminum crossover bolts to the intake manifold, there is still plastic mating between the aluminum head and crossover.

very true. I bought my PI intake thinking I'd be all safe. But I got it and saw that there was still plastic support underneath the aluminum crossover.... Hopefully it'll last

The previous owner of my Stang had replaced his intake after it cracked, from what I can tell this intake with aluminum crossover is about 10-20K Old.

I'm still running the original manifold. I guess I'm on borrowed time.

Im still on the original too. I just hit 75k miles on the clock, so i guess i should consider an upgrade along with everything else in the spring. Anyone have a favorite intake manifold for boost? Or hell, even for N/A?

You won't need it if you install a KB. It comes with its own intake. I'm running a centri so I've been considering the HPS Hardball'r. I'm just not in any hurry to shell out $700 for a marginal increase in performance.
