Unless you get a good deal on a wrecked GT it would be cheaper to just buy a GT.

The engine, wireing harness, computer, cooling system, tranny, driveshaft, rearend, front suspension and Kmember, instrument cluster all need to be swapped. Plus I'm sure there is alot more I missed.

I think the rear end can stay... but I totally agree sell the 6 and get an 8, cheaper and less time

I disagree, youll get more for your money in a building a car 95% of the time, I would swap a cobra motor in there, it will cost you around 2500k-4k with the tranny and everything else if you shop around, but youll have alot faster car and you can use performance parts for somethings also. The same is true for GT owners, buying a 03 cobra is a waste imo, you can do alot better for the same money or less. Especially since your v-6 practically has little to no real resale value, Id mod it.

+1 Buy a GT or a Cobra, or stroke your 3.8 liter and make it bigger, lilroush did that and his car is a beast.

Or you could........get a 302 you wouldnt have to change the K-member as its the same as the V-6 one, make it carbuerated (save tons of cash on FI stuff) and if your cars a 5-speed Id bet all you would need is a 302 bellhousing and it would bolt right up. You could get it running drive it and keep building it as you go.
