Default Driving a car after blower install......HELP NOW

Well me and my friends just finished a Vortech install on my buddy's 2003 Mustang GT. We need to get it to the dyno this morning and the car is untuned. It is my assumption that as long as were kept out of boost we should be ok? Input needed! Car has 42lb injectors and an SVT focus pump with a Vortech V-1 blower & power cooler and is an auto.. if it matters.

dont you need fuel rails too? i always thought that. I think if you stay out of boost you will be fine, since your not using the S/C

Is this not kind of a strange question from a moderator?

yes you should be fine, just easy on the gas - drive like a grandma keep the rpms as low as possible

Fuel rails are a requirement for the car to run, but they don't need to be aftermarket if that's what you are getting at.

With a centri blower is it possible to just not hook up the pulley and then dot have to worry about that.

I know thats a stupid statement/question

LOL I can't believe everybody missed this but he said he put 42lbs injectors in on an untuned car and asked if he could drive it. It might run but not very well and your going to wash the cylinder walls.

Not everyone missed it, you seem to have noticed so all is well.

With the bigger injectors and all I would just have it towed to the shop for a tune. Not worth damaging something over the price of a quick tow.

honestly get it towed. we did a supra and installed bigger injectors, thing barely jumped about 2k because it was flooding itself out, the car didnt know what to do. my guess would be your mustang is gonna do the same thing. get it towed!!! better to be safe than sorry. another 60bucks or so isnt going to hurt you in the long run
