The list goes pretty much as the years go as far as performance

03/04<--- supercharged IRS Tumble Port b heads etc rated @390hp crank 3.55 rear gears.<---underated
99/01<--- N/A IRS Tumble port C heads etc. <---- rated @ like 320?hp crank 3.55rear?
96-98<--- N/A SRA Teksid block 3.27:1 rear rated @ 305 rear to the crank all are 4.6L DOHC 32v then there are the pushrods

94-95 Pushrod 2v 5.0 HO 302cid rated at 245hp<--- underated
93 pushrod 5.0 HO 302cid rated @ 235? <--- super rare.

some of the 99s still came teskid but the difference in blocks arent to important here.
The mach 1's came with the 3.55 rear. the 99/01 cobras came with the ****ty 3.27's.

Yeah teksid is the name of the block. Its believed to be stronger than the mid 01 block.

What makes those ones the way to go over the others? I'm curious since I have one

They are supposed to be the strongest and they were in 96 cobra's. I don't think the 97-98's have them. I know for sure atleast the beginning 99's have teksid blocks.

Teksid blocks were made by a company called teksid that is based in Italy. They build all the blocks for Ferrari. Ford used them because they didn't have the tech to make a strong aluminum block. They were used in the 96-98 cobra's and mark VIII's but were not cost effective so ford stopped buying them and started using the WAP(Windsor Aluminum Plant) blocks. Which were now fairly strong but not as strong as the teksids. Some Teksids might have rolled over into 99 but I haven't heard of any.

The 99's all got teskid blocks, and some 01's did too.

the 03 is the best cuss of the head tick lol.

but i agree with the 96-98 models, they are dead sexxy and i would trade for one if it has 03-04 cobra engine, tranny, and Irs. i really like the way the exhaust shows from the bottom. and of course black in color.
