The straight through mufflers won't drone. I had LM2's and Magnapacks. There are certain RPM's in which it sounds like the exhaust "opens up" but it isn't a resonant drone like Flowmasters.

So then the question is: Will the LM1's or LM2's be too loud of an exhaust for a convertible, long trips, talking to the wife, or being on the phone?

I don't like Mac products. They are good for the budget minded that wants a good sound but they are not for me.

I had packs with an o/r H and cruising wasn't too loud. It is definitely loud when you get on it though. I made on 4 hour trip to VT and I could have a conversation easily.

I like the flowmaster drone, I only hit the drone at 2200-2400 RPMS.

Mac sounds like your tailpipe is in water.

You can't be pleased. Save your money and keep what you have, quit whining.

Yeah, you're right... I'll probably just wind up keeping the Flowmaster, going with LT's and welding in some tuned resonators.

Exhaust is one of those things that will always have something wrong. If it doesn't resonate, it might not be loud enough at idle or something like that. Not everything will be perfect. I love my packs and o/r H but the idle is quiet compared to flows.
