mustangman281 you got me sold on the TFS intake. I was getting ready to order it but it comes with a 75mm throttle body bore diameter. Will I have to buy a 75MM TB?

Your cams only make power up to 5600. you would need cams making power in the 6500 range.I would think that the TFS intake would need bigger cams to take advantage of power band moving up in the rpm range. What do you think about that Mustangman281?

he is right, only people who need aftermarket intake have seriously built motors, or are boosted...orrrr people who crack their stock ones and just feel like spending all that money on a aluminum one... you should be fine with your stock intake, so before you dump 1000+ on somthing that isnt going to make much of a difference for you at all...just rock with the stock intake till it blows and if it doesnt, mint

I still have stock cams and I shift at 6400rpms. Before the intake I had to shift at 6000rpms because the car started to fall on its face after that. I do have CMS stage 3 blower cams sitting at home waiting for next months install.

Yes you will have to get a 75mm TB. You can use the stock one but why not spend the extra $100.

The cams make peak power up to a point (5600). After that you would be looseing hp.It would seem to me that you would need bigger cams to get the most out of that intake. It would seem to be a waste of money. I know you know about engine so am not saying what you say is not ture. That your stock cams pulling to 6400.

I think I'm going to go with the 4:10's for now. Will the cam and gears work good together? I figure with the 4:10's I should be a solid 13 sec car. That's preety good on the streets right?

Save your money on the intake........

I have pully's, CAI, 75mm TB/Plenum, O/R X-pipe, and a Dyno-Tune with NX 100shot. Putting down 333rwhp & 418 RwTrq (100 degree temps in the shop)

W/ Drag Radials, Im consitantly running 12.80's and that's still babying it off the line with low 1.90's 60ft.

Just throwing my .02 out there! Spray it... finish modding afterwards!
