Racing2fast that's very impressive. I am torn between the gears and NOS. If I were to go NOS would ZEX be a good choice?

Whoa.... Gears should have been one of the 1st mod's you did bro!!

That's a toss up now... I'd have to throw gears on it. Just for daily drivability! and being able to get off the line that's prolly THE best mod I had done.

I went 3.73's.... I plan on going S/C down the rd. If your not planning on a S/C then 3.90's or 4.10's are the most common. However.... Im turing 2k- 2,200 @ hwy speeds with 3.73's. SO keep that in mind if your a Highway driver. Much more than 3.73's, and she'll be singing to you on the streets!

I have the Nitrous Express..... but know plenty of guy's with Zex kit's and they are straight fwd. and descent for a "starter" kit. I think the NX kit, with their solenoids, and refined "shark" nozzle hit's harder and performs better. But that's my opinion!

One minute you got the stock manifold, then the next you got the TFS. Keep it real Mustangman281.

It was the 1st mod (Gears) but then the car was a daily driver. I just bought a truck so the stang is going to be a every so often maybe weekend track driver. I was thinking about going home in my stang (1300 mile round trip) what effects will it have on my car?

LOL you really think I would stay with the stock intake after seeing my friends car out perform me with it. It's only $800 and well worth it. I guess I should have said this racing all took place last summer. I got mine in march.

You have 3.73's now??? That's what I see in your sig

If you have 3.73's, then your fine!! Dirve it anywhere you want.

If you have "gears" then get the spray and have fun.

I thought you said you were torn between gears, or spray??? That's why I posted what I did about the gears.

The original thread was upgrading my intake but I was given advice on gears. I'm going to get the spray but I thought I would get the gears 1st, that's all.

So what are you planning to do then...?? nitrous...?? intake...?? The nitrous will give you more but the intake is not a waste of money...sure the stock intake is FINE, however it is still the weak link in my opinion and the aftermarket intake will offer improvement...

Best Bang For the Buck

NITROUS!!!!!!!!!

Dont skimp, play safe... and you'll love it! I still smile everytime I feel it tip in and then the sudden rush of power! Always fun at the Red-Light when you have someone (typically import) pull up reving at you... Scan for Cops... hit the purge... and watch the smirk on their face turn to a Ghost White Blank Stare!! lol It makes them back off real quick! (most of them anyways..... I've still had my azz handed to me by a few imports, typically tubo charged. But it's a race none the less)
