They dropped it off at my office yesterday before I was at work, I never talked to anyone about it!

I got ahold of someone down at the shop and he said there was a 4.6 short block with bad rings, but he didn't know if there was any other damage because he wasn't involved in the work.

I never even had to pay a deductable, so I don't know if I want to keep calling back or take a ride over and see what the problem was and remind them I might have a bill to pay! LOL

The dealership I dealt with for this situation, is amazing. I told them I wouldn't be able to pick the car up until after hours, and they said company policy says they can't leave keys in a car for someone to pick up, so they asked where I work, and they dropped it off for me!

I changed the oil tonight, and everything seems to be all well with the new short block!

I stopped at the dealership before the closed and asked if they had any paperwork they could show me, and the service manager walked up!! He wasn't too happy for whatever reason, I asked him what happened with my motor and he said "piston slap" and walked away.

Eh? Wouldn't I have needed something more than a short block if I had a nice piston slapping issue?

Oh yeah, they said my deductable bill is the mail. They pay it up front to 'speed up' the replacement process.
