Default Im thinking of switching to a Mach 1, is it worth it?

hey guys, i found a pretty good deal on a 04 Mach 1 with only 20k miles on it. Im currently driving a 02 GT (see my short mod list in sig). I just want to know if there are people here who switched from a GT go a stock Mach. Is it a big difference? Does anyone know how much hp the stock block holds? thanks guys.

I heard that the 5spd mach 1's have forged rods and etc whereas the auto's don't...

my buddy at the dealership can give me 8ish for my car, and he can get the mach down to like 12 ish, so it would be my car plus 3-4k. The mach has a sticker of 17000, so i figured it sounded good.

yea thats not bad..i would do it since a 4v is better upgrade and the mach 1's probably wont stay cheap for too long

Close, the crank in the 5 speed is forged, the crank in the auto is cast.

3-4K more for 2 years old is not bad. I am assuming your '02 has lot more miles then I say go for it. If you have a low low mileage '02 then I say spend the 4K on a blower. I drove my buddies stock '03 MACH 1 and was not impressed at all but I am blown.

Yes. I was having second thoughts about it when I was on my way to the dealer to drive the car, but the second I got to fire it up and see the shaker do it's thing, it was on. The GT and Mach 1 are totally different animals.

But i'm biased.
