Default 02' GTs 1st mod

Hi all,
I have a 02 GT and am looking to do a few bolt on upgrades, what should I do first? I have about 600 to spend and want the most bang for my buck.

gears + install will be close to that. with the left over, get a CAI or maybe a catback if it's cheap enough.

most will say to get 4:10's round here. I would agree. I have mine sittin in the garage, waiting install.
they are reported to have great off the line pull, and aren't the devils on gas that people make them out to be.

well, good luck!

The ones who comment about the crappy gas mileage that's going to happen on someone else's car almost never have 4.10s themselves, rather it's usually something they've "heard".

Gears are the way to go as far as performance for the money goes, But follow it up with exhaust to pull out a few extra ponies.

I had thought of the tuner as well. But he doesnt want to save up...hes like me and with every penny i get i look for the next thing i want to make my car faster/better/stronger.

if we're gonna talk about saving up...just save another 2500 and get a blower
