i have a 2" drop on my car. I had problems with going over speedbumps when i had my stock H pipe on. When i took it off i saw the scrapes of yellow paint on the Cats. Once i put my Offroad Prochamber on it I have no problem with Speedbumps anymore, Just gotta go slow

I have the Eibach Sportlines. Love them. At first, I heard bumping and other bad noises. I took a lot of time to study and found my Magnaflow was making contact in bad places. I spent some time under the GT and got it ALL good. No more probs. My MAC Pro-Chamber has been the victim of a few ground collisions but mostly when I get careless and 98% can be avoided. My Mach 1 chin spoiler is scuffed again from me being careless. The ride is great. My GT sat up so high I could shove my giant balled up fists betwwen the OEM rubber and the sheetmetal front and back! Now, it's got very nice 1" or so wheel gap. Rides great. Not really harsh but very firm. Say you spot a cop in the median shooting radar and you nail the skids......you won't nose dive at all!

ORIGINAL: BMFMUSTANG

Just put a 1.25"Front, and a 1" Rear drop on my 2001 GT. Used BBK Progressive rate system, also ordered the new polyurethane bushing package. Alot of guys buy the springs but not the new bushings, without the bushings it causes you to sit slightly lower in front, this is where you'll scrape more often than not. I ordered from Summit, it was cheap, shipping was free, and I got the stuff in two days.
why did you go lower in the front???????? the stock ride height is already higher in the rear.

another thing to think of when you're going to lower your car is how do you like to wash it????? if you like to go to a drive through car wash 2" is probably too low. mine is 1.75 and i rub at the drive thru wash. and i mean rub BAD.

i went lower in the front to 1.25" and 1" back i think it looks tight like a hot rod. I think the main reason i did it was cause of my dads ssr it has 19" rims in the front and 20" in the back stock looks real tight. and real men wash there own cars

real men who live in a house or apartment that has an outdoor spigot and don't have dirt driveways wash their own cars.

i have a dirt......no mud driveway.....and no hose spigot on the outside.

and to each their own on the ride height.........but i think cars look better when they sit level.
