Default 4.30 gears

Are 4.30 gears to much for a daily driven 98 GT?

I wouldn't go any higher than 4.10's on a daily driver. 4.10's will be good for your auto. I don't get why people always want to get the most extreme gear. Yes your acceleration will be better but there are other factors in the world at play. I bet if they made a 9.56 gear then come people would actually buy it

My car is not a daily driver and I thought I was stretching it with 4:10's. I am about to change my gear ratio from 3:73's to 4:10's. If you are a college student tight on cash go with 3:73's.

Stick with 4.10s bro if thats your only car. I believe 98s came with 2.73s? gears and dude when you slap those 4.10s in there its gona feel like a brand spankin new car and much faster.

ppl crack me up... go with the 4.30s if u want, sounds like you dont drive far at all. i personally have 3.73s and wasnt thrilled, put them in about 3-4 months ago, and its just not as much a kick in the *** as i wanted. and im putting 4.10s in saturday. i would have went 4.30 but would have ran out of gear at the track with nitrous.

an auto... 4.30s will be ok, 4.10s are fine too, 3.73 youll be bored.

and i like the 9.xx comment... you know they do make gears in the 5.xx range right? i dont see everyone jumping on those
