Hmm thats a tough one, I know a lot of places sell 8.8 solid rear take-off's but I've never seen IRS for sale.

You can find a cobra guy who is a die hard drag racing fan and do a swap but apart from that I don't think I've seen an IRS kit for sale anywhere

What are you planing on using it for?

The 99-01 cobra IRS should hold up fine for most applications (not dragracing on slicks)

Also IIRC the T-bird alos had an 8.8" IRS. I would look at all of your options.

Make sure you really want to go IRS first like sxynerd said. You will be adding weight and you will still have to modify the IRS with bushings that aren't exactly cheap. The ride quality will be better, but if you are doing it for handling, you can probably achieve what you want with the SRA and upgrades.

+1 Also a SRA will never lose camber in a turn like an IRS will.

On a prepped track a properly setup SRA will do as well as an IRS, But The IRS has an advantage on rough or uneven pavement.
