How much does a stock intake cost? I saw a typhoon intake on summit for around $600.00.

I have blown a few of those plastic intakes with the new aluminum crossover. I suggest this intake: http://www.rpmoutlet.com/musv8dynotune.htm it is the typhoon intake for around 530 or 600 depending on if you want satin finish or polished. It has done wonders for my '96 stang.

uh... how easy is it to break these intakes? what kind of mods will it take before you need to watch out for damaging them? (the stockers)

unfortunately with the p-51 i dont think i could use my shaker setup. it looks like it would be to tall to fit in the hole and besides that i dont see anywhere to mount it to the intake.
