ecstasy- I live around Tiffin Ohio, which is up in the North Western part of Ohio.

Steve- Yeah, sorry about that. Once I start typing, I really have a hard time making myself stop. Just for anyone who cares, the bottom paragraph or two are really all that matters.

Well I can identify with you, heck I own a small car lot and even got caught with my pants down... bought a 01 GT Vert from the wholesale dealer only Carmax auction with 92k on it, turns out it has had bodywork (frame seems ok) and has a replacement motor. I paid only $6700 for it, and have since registered it in my name and have a good aftermarket warranty on it. I've lowered it and done some other tidbits and still Love my GT!!

I would say it would be hard to recoup the original 9500 and the 2000+ in repairs...

Glad to hear that it worked out ok for you. I have pretty much gave up though on getting all the money back out of it, thats why I'm kinda leaning towards just getting an older Cobra for around $7-10k.

Guess I might as well show a pic of my car here if I can figure out how
