i was already planning on changing springs. But im looking for a decent 2v cam that will work with a stock shortblock. The motor is procharged already, i know it will be at its limits. Anyone have cam suggestions?

It'll work. I was actually thinking the lower lift version of the same cam with a bigger lobe separation. F/I motors are more duration and LSA sensitive than they are lift sensitive. The bigger LSA will help reduce the amount of boost you'll lose due to valve overlap and the duration will help you cram in as much air as possible.
