Default Lifting Engine

So im doing a full K-member, A-arm and Coilover suspension install...

managed to get everything off and now im trying to lift engine. decided to just use my jack with a piece of cardboard and wood and jack it up using the oil pan.

so i started jacking it up and the passenger side is lifted off the k-member, but the drivers side motor mount seems to be supporting weight, like its unbalanced. cant move the driver side motor mount.

not sure if i should jack it up another 1/2 inch or so, or what? any ideas? its probably already about an inch and a half in the air.

when i lifted mine up for the headers i jacked it up until it was hitting the firewall for more clearance. go for it. it is probably just not perfectly balanced like you think.

yea i jacked it up as much as i can, there's a bracket on the top of the intake manifold thats hittin the firewall now. dont wanna bend it and its gettin dark out so im not gunna take it off.

i looked at the motor mounts, passenger side one is toast me thinks... the rubber or whatever it is, is cracked horribly. the driver side i have found that the bolt is dragging its threads across the k-member slot as i jack it up. its only got about a 1/4 maybe even an 1/8 of an inch to go until its full off though.

im thinkin of dropping the k-member without fully getting the motor "off" of it... and im thinkin that new motor mounts might be in order. will try and get pictures up...
