Lift the front of the car off the ground and check for play.

i need a new tie rod end in mine... mine will do a quick squeek sometimes... so i put it on the lift at work to do an alignment... and when i was doing it... i play with the tie rod and mine is starting to go... and im sure that is what is causing the squeeking... Mine is not completely shot yet, but next paycheck i am gettin the part... easy to install....

Sounds like ball joints to me.

Check this out. A buddy came over (he's not your average *******) and looked at it. Apparently its on the passenger side...and its like underneath a rubber cover type thing. The driver's side of the same thing has/feels like there's oil or grease, while the passenger side does not (feels dry). He said the tie rods looked fine.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about here? It's like on the bottom part of the whole steering system, right by the wheels (one on either end).

Sounds like your talking about the rack and pinion boots, if one of yours split open and its leaking that could be the cause of your squeak, (what happens when something needs more grease)

I'm going to get a light on it and try to open up a small opening to shoot some grease in there...eventually....

If the boot has torn you would need another boot. Adding grease to the tore boot will just be out of grease in no time.

You got dry-socket homie..

Most likely its a tie rod end or ball joint. Poke a SMALL pinhole in ONE boot at a time, then spray some WD40 in there and retest.. When the noise goes away or gets lower, you found the culprit
